Jake Steinfeld grew up on Long Island, NY and was an overweight child who had a bad stutter. He was often picked on by other kids and was unable to fight back.
As he grew older he began to work on improving his body and overall health. Today Jake is seen as a true fitness authority. In addition to his weight loss and fitness programs, he also works as a motivational speaker who inspires others to improve themselves. Jake has used his personal experiences to develop his "Don't Quit" motto. He uses this in his physical training sessions and in his motivational talks.
When Jake first began in the personal training industry he worked with many celebrities in Beverly Hills, CA. His client list included Harrison Ford, Better Midler and Madonna. He has also hosted his own "Body by Jake" television show, which led to the creation of FitTV. FitTV is owned by the Discovery Channel and is a 24 hour fitness channel.
Jake has written several books and even starred in his own sitcom, "Big Brother Jake". Today Jake continues his work in the fitness area selling fitness products and also travels around the country to do motivational speeches.
Jake is also very active in children's charities and makes time to be involved with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Organization.
